In the Messerscheibe24 guide you will find practical articles about robotic mowers, blade discs, mower plates and replacement blades. We explain which blades fit which model, when it makes sense to replace the blade disc and how the right blade gives you a clean, even cut.
Our guides cover all common robotic mower brands – including Segway Navimow, Mammotion, Dreame, MOVA, Eufy, Ecovacs, Gardena and Husqvarna. Whether first-time setup, blade change, maintenance or troubleshooting: here you get clear, practical answers so your robotic mower works reliably and lasts longer.
When should you replace the blade disc or blades?
The blades of a robotic mower are wear parts: over time they become blunt, bend on stones or crack. Blunt blades tend to tear the grass rather than cut it cleanly – the result is frayed blades of grass, an uneven lawn and higher power consumption, because the motor has to work harder. As a rule of thumb: check the blades every four to eight weeks and replace the entire blade disc as soon as individual blades are missing, show cracks or the cut quality declines. Our guides show step by step how to assess the condition correctly and change the blades safely.
Finding the right blade disc for your model
Not every blade disc fits every robotic mower. Mounting, diameter, number of blades and direction of rotation differ depending on manufacturer and series. Fitting the wrong disc risks imbalance, poorer cutting performance or damage to the drive. In our articles we match the common models to the right blade discs and replacement blades – from Segway Navimow to Mammotion and Dreame through to Eufy, Ecovacs, Gardena and Husqvarna – so you pick the correct spare part straight away.
