Compatibility – MOVA
Fits the following robotic mowers:
- ✓ MOVA 600
- ✓ MOVA 1000
The MOVA 600 or MOVA 1000 is for many the first robotic lawnmower in the garden – and at some point the first small service is due. No worries: The cutting disc is a completely normal wear part, and here you will find the right replacement with 6, 7 or 9 blades, ready assembled and with blade guard.
How many blades should it be? A quick decision guide
All three versions fit equally on MOVA 600 and MOVA 1000 and are supplied with a protective frame. They differ only in how many blades pass through the grass with each rotation – and thus in how fine the cut pattern turns out.

The obvious choice for your first replacement: You replace the worn disc with a fresh one with six blades and your MOVA cuts again just like it did in the early days. Nothing to get used to, nothing to adjust.

With seven blades, every blade of grass is captured more often at the same speed. The result looks more even, especially when the lawn is growing quickly – a small upgrade compared to the usual standard, without changing anything about handling.

Nine blades cut the clippings into the finest pieces – the tips look like they’ve been polished, and the tiny scraps disappear unobtrusively in the lawn. For everyone who wants to get the maximum in care appearance from their first robotic lawnmower.

What wears out on the robotic lawnmower – and why that is completely normal
When the first robotic lawnmower comes in, hardly anyone thinks about replacement parts – the device just keeps running. But just like tires on a car, with the MOVA 600 and MOVA 1000 there is exactly one component that wears down as intended: the blade plate with its blades. It spins a thousand times through the grass on every single drive.
So the fact that blades become dull over time and the cutting disc shows signs of use is neither a defect nor a reason to make a complaint with the robotic lawnmower – it is normal wear that affects every mowing disc. The only thing that matters is noticing it in time: frayed grass with worn tips is the typical first sign.
The replacement is intentionally kept simple: This cutting disc comes to you completely assembled with pre-mounted blades and an attached protective frame. You don’t have to screw individual blades into place or do anything else – the disc is prepared so that the swap works even the very first time.
Once per season, take a quick look at the mowing disc and replace it if needed – that’s all the routine required to keep your MOVA mowing just like it did at the beginning.
Your first disc change: easier than you think
If you’ve never replaced a part on a robotic lawnmower before: That’s exactly what this replacement is made for. Switch the robot off, carefully lay it on its side, remove the old cutting disc, fit the new one – you don’t need any tools for this, and after just a few minutes your MOVA will be mowing again as if nothing happened.
The included protective frame is part of every version, whether it has 6, 7 or 9 blades. It keeps the freely moving blades in a controlled position and ensures that the mowing disc continues running smoothly even in dense or damp grass, instead of getting clogged with cuttings.
A practical tip for beginners: Take the blade change as an opportunity to clear the cutting area of grass residue and soil once. This way you can immediately see whether the disc has been bumped somewhere – for example after contact with a branch or a stone – and start fresh in the next section of the season.
And if you’re unsure whether the disc fits: you only need the model designation MOVA 600 or MOVA 1000 – both use the same version; comparing dimensions or images is unnecessary.

Simply select your number of blades above – 6 for the proven standard, 7 or 9 for a finer cut pattern; if you want, you can get it right away with 60 replacement blades in the set. Each version is delivered ready to install and turns the first service on your MOVA into a matter of minutes.
Top reviews
Good quality and fits my Mova 600 without any problems; the blade guard protects well during replacement. Only downside: the installation instructions are very brief—you have to figure out the order for a moment.
This cutting disc fits perfectly on my Mova 1000. With the protective cover, the cutting area stays cleaner and the grass doesn’t get caught up as quickly after mowing. One downside: the mounting steps are a bit tricky to position without looking around first.
The blade for my Mova 600 was exactly what I needed! My lawn is over 500 square meters, and the old blades were just not effective anymore. With the new blades, it mows more evenly and no longer leaves clumps of grass. The blade guard is great, making handling much safer. A small downside was the somewhat long delivery time, but the wait was definitely worth it!

Frequently asked questions
My MOVA is my first robotic lawnmower— is it normal that the cutting disc already shows wear?
Yes, that’s completely normal and not a defect. The cutting disc is the wear part of the robotic lawnmower—comparable to tires on a car: it rotates through the grass countless times during every drive, the blades become dull, and the disc shows signs of use. Replacing it is part of the usual care for MOVA 600 and MOVA 1000.
Does this cutting disc fit both the MOVA 600 and the MOVA 1000?
Yes. Both models use the same mounting for the mowing disc, so each of the three blade variants fits MOVA 600 and MOVA 1000 without any adjustments. You don’t need to measure anything—the model name of your robot is enough.
Which variant is right for the first replacement—6, 7, or 9 blades?
If you were satisfied with the previous cutting pattern, the 6-blade variant is the straightforward standard replacement. With 7 blades, each blade of grass is captured more often per rotation, and the result is finer; 9 blades provide the finest cutting pattern in the series. Assembly and handling are identical for all three.
I’ve never changed something like this before—how difficult is the replacement really?
The replacement is intentionally beginner-friendly: switch the robot off, carefully tilt it, remove the old disc, and attach the new one—without any tools. Since the blades are delivered pre-assembled, you don’t have to screw anything in individually. Even the very first time, you’ll be ready to mow again after just a few minutes.
Is the guard included with every blade variant?
Yes, the guard is included with all three versions – 6, 7 and 9 blades – as part of the delivery. It keeps the pivot-mounted blades securely in position, supports a smooth run of the mowing disc, and helps prevent grass blockages in damp or dense grass.
How often should I check the cutting disc as a beginner?
As a simple routine, one look per season is enough, plus a check after special events such as contact with branches, stones, or fallen fruit. Signs that a replacement is due include frayed blade tips, brownish cut edges, an unkempt-looking lawn despite regular mowing, or blades that sit loosely.
Is the set with 60 replacement blades worth it already with the first purchase?
If you mow regularly with your MOVA, yes: you simply swap out dull blades from your supply without having to reorder, and in the set the replenishment costs less than buying later as individual items. This way, you turn your first service into a predictable routine for the coming seasons.
Is this an original MOVA spare part?
No, it is a compatible cutting disc from CUT GUARD. It is manufactured to fit the mounting for MOVA 600 and MOVA 1000, comes with a guard and pre-assembled blades, and is designed for regular use in a robotic mower. Please check the model designation of your device before purchasing.
