Compatibility – SUNSEEKER
Fits the following robotic mowers:
- ✓ V3
- ✓ X3
Sunseeker belongs to the young generation of robotic lawnmowers that do without boundary wire – only when it comes to replacement parts supply do you notice that the brand is still new on the shelf. This cutting disc solves the issue in one go: a mowing disc for V3 and X3, optionally with 7 or 9 blades, neatly balanced and ready to be fitted.
7 or 9 blades – which cutting disc goes under your Sunseeker?
Both versions sit on the same mounting and fit equally well on V3 and X3 – so you don’t decide on compatibility, but only on the number of cuts per revolution. The more blades run along, the more often each blade of grass is captured and the finer the cuttings fall out.

Seven cutting edges per revolution are completely sufficient for a normally maintained home lawn. This version is the straightforward choice if you want to simply replace a worn disc and then see a clean, even cut pattern again – without having to compare for a long time.

Two cutting edges more mean more cut points on the same circular path. The grass is broken down into smaller pieces and, during mulching, it falls between the blades instead of lying on top as clippings – the right choice for areas with vigorous growth or dense stands.

One mowing disc, two models – a supply for the whole garden
Anyone who has chosen a wireless robotic lawnmower from the new generation knows the situation: the choice for the robot itself is made quickly, but then the search begins for the wear part. With V3 and X3, this part is eliminated – both models use the same cutting disc.
For you, that means: one order number instead of two, one shelf space instead of two. If you have two Sunseeker units in operation – for example, the front garden and the main area separately –, the same replacement mowing disc covers both. And if at some point a model change within the series is due, the existing stock remains usable.
The mowing disc is the component that carries the freely oscillating blades and holds them in position. It determines whether the blades rotate in a controlled manner or whether the cutting system has to work against a disc that runs unevenly.
The disc is delivered fully assembled and matched to the original mounting – without adapters, without adjustment, without drilling.
Why a balanced mowing disc makes the difference
A cutting disc rotates at high speed directly under the housing. If it is warped, bent, or unevenly worn, an imbalance occurs – and it doesn’t remain without consequences: it transfers as vibration into the cutting system, makes itself noticeable as noise, and leaves an unsettled cut pattern.
That is exactly why the vibration-reduced design of this cutting disc is not a side note. Both variants distribute the blades evenly over the circumference, so the rotation remains stable and each blade works at the same radius. This protects the blade guidance and keeps the cut consistent throughout the season.
Both versions also feature a protective cover on the mowing disc that keeps grass flow clear. Moist clippings that would otherwise collect around the blades and slow down the rotation are routed through instead of being jammed – fewer stops in dense grass.
The swap itself is done in just a few minutes and, as a rule, requires no tools: switch off the robotic lawnmower, carefully tilt it, remove the old disc, and fit the new one. Since the blades are already mounted, the individual screwing of the blades is completely eliminated.

Simply select the desired number of blades above – 7 for the proven standard cut, 9 for the finer result, if you wish, right away together with 60 replacement blades. Both versions fit Sunseeker V3 and X3 and are delivered ready to install.

Top reviews
After trying two other brands, this 7-blade cutting disc for the Sunseeker V3/X3 seems to be a decent match. The fit was correct for my mower, and I noticed less wobble during operation compared with the cheaper set I used before. Cutting is reasonably even, but the first swap took longer than expected because the old disc was pretty stubborn to remove. Shipping was the only real hassle.
I replaced the old disc on my Sunseeker V3 after a few weeks of mowing, and right away you could see the difference. The new 7-blade disc works much more calmly, and the lawn in my approx. 400 m² garden looks even and dense, without ragged ends. Installation was easy—only I had to tighten the screws properly, because otherwise the disc had a minimal amount of play. After a week of use, everything works flawlessly, and I’m aiming for a longer service life with regular maintenance.

Frequently asked questions
Does the same cutting disc really fit both the Sunseeker V3 and the X3?
Yes. The V3 and X3 use the same mowing disc mount, so either of the two variants fits both lawn mowers without an adapter. So if you have two Sunseekers working in your garden, you only need to keep one spare part type in stock—and when switching within the series, the existing supply remains usable.
7 or 9 blades – which should I choose for my lawn?
For a normally maintained home lawn, the 7-blade disc is sufficient; it’s the straightforward replacement for a worn disc. The 9-blade version adds two extra cutting edges along the same circular path, captures each blade of grass more often, and chops the clippings more finely—useful for vigorous growth and for mulching. The fit is identical for both.
What does “low-vibration” mean for a cutting disc specifically?
The disc spins at high speed directly under the housing. If the blades are evenly distributed around the circumference and the disc is not warped, the rotation runs smoothly and stably. A warped or knocked disc, on the other hand, creates an imbalance that is noticeable as vibration and noise; it puts additional strain on the cutting system and leaves an uneven cutting pattern.
Do both variants have protection on the mowing disc?
Yes, both the 7- and 9-blade version is supplied with a guard. It keeps the grass flow on the disc clear, so that damp clippings do not build up around the blades and slow down the rotation. In dense or wet grass, this means noticeably fewer stops.
Do I need tools to change the cutting disc?
In most cases, no: switch off the robotic mower, carefully tip it over, remove the old disc, and attach the new one. Since the blades are already pre-assembled, the individual screwing of the blades is completely eliminated—the swap is done in just a few minutes. Gloves are still recommended when handling the cutting system.
Is the disc supplied ready to install for V3 and X3?
Yes. The disc comes pre-fitted—on the 7 version with 7, and on the 9 version with 9 already mounted blades. So you don’t need to screw anything on individually and can mow again right after attaching it. A separate supply of replacement blades is optional and only intended for later changes.
How do I know when my old mowing disc needs to be replaced?
Look out for frayed instead of smoothly cut blade tips, an uneven cutting pattern, unusual noises, or an unsteady running of the cutting system. Blades that no longer sit firmly are also a sign. After contact with stones, roots, or solid branches, it’s also worth checking for nicks and deformation—a damaged disc will run with imbalance.
Is this an original Sunseeker replacement part?
No, it is a compatible cutting disc from CUT GUARD, precision-made for mounting on Sunseeker V3 and X3. Especially with a still young robotic brand, this is often the faster route to the replacement part: the material and blade guidance are designed for continuous operation, and the disc comes with pre-assembled blades. Please check the model designation of your device before ordering.
