Compatibility – HUSQVARNA
Fits the following robotic mowers:
- ✓ Automower 305
- ✓ Automower 310
- ✓ Automower 315X
- ✓ Automower 405
- ✓ Automower 410
- ✓ Automower 415
If you own an Automower, you know the routine: at some point, the blade plate change is on the garden calendar, just like cleaning the charging station. The question is rarely if, but which disc. Here you can choose between 6, 7 and 9 blades – each version with protective features and pre-assembled blades.
Which version fits your Automower?
Two things determine it: your model and how finely you want to cut. All three versions fit Automower 305, 310, 315X, 405, 410 and 415. The versions with 7 and 9 blades additionally cover Automower 435X and 535 – for these two models, the 6-blade disc is not intended.
The second difference is the number of cuts per revolution: the more blades run along, the more often each blade of grass is captured – and the finer the cuttings come out.

The classic replacement for the worn mowing disc. Fits Automower 305, 310, 315X, 405, 410 and 415 – not for 435X and 535. If you’re happy with the familiar cut pattern and simply want clean cutting edges again, you’re in the right place.

One more cut per revolution – and the wider model coverage: in addition to 305, 310, 315X, 405, 410 and 415, also Automower 435X and 535. The choice for areas with strong growth where the robotic lawnmower has a lot to do.

Nine cutting points break down the blades of grass in the finest way – the clippings fall so small that they disappear between the blades of grass. Also approved for Automower 435X and 535 in addition to the 305 to 415 series.

Changing the mowing disc is part of the Automower
Husqvarna has been building robotic lawnmowers since most neighbors were still out with the hand mower. Accordingly, maintenance is well established: Anyone who knows their Automower for a few seasons knows exactly when the cut pattern starts to wear – and doesn’t need a long explanation of why a fresh mowing disc is due.
The typical signs remain the same across all generations: the tips of the blades look frayed rather than smoothly cut, they turn brownish at the ends, stubborn grass clippings collect in the cutting area, and the cutting system sounds more unsteady than usual.
The second reason is just as common: contact with a stone, a root, or a forgotten branch. After that, it’s always worth taking a look underneath the robotic lawnmower – a mowing disc with a notch or a dent runs unevenly and unnecessarily stresses the mowing unit.
Protection, tool-free operation, and the right model list
The protective frame is included in the scope of delivery for all three versions. It keeps each blade in position and supports controlled blade guidance while the disc rotates – this reduces grass clumps around the mowing disc, especially when moist cuttings tend to stick.
You don’t need any tools for the replacement: switch off the robotic lawnmower, carefully tip it over, remove the old cutting disc, and fit the new one. Since the blades are already pre-assembled, the individual screwing of the blades is also no longer necessary – after two minutes, the Automower is back in the charging station.
When ordering, only one thing matters: the model number. The 6-blade disc is intended for Automower 305, 310, 315X, 405, 410 and 415. If you drive an Automower 435X or 535, choose the version with 7 or 9 blades – only these two cover the larger models.
If you have multiple Automower in use, the 7-blade or 9-blade version is the most flexible: a replacement disc on the shelf then fits every robotic lawnmower in the garden.

Select the appropriate blade count above – 6 blades for Automower 305 to 415, 7 or 9 blades additionally also for 435X and 535; if you wish, right away as a set with 60 replacement blades. Delivered ready for installation, with blade guard and mounted blades.

Top reviews
I replaced this cutting disc on my Husqvarna 310 and it works right away without any hassle. It has a protective guard and 6 blades; after mounting, the mower guides the blades evenly and leaves a clean, even strip of grass.
I ordered the cutting disc for my Husqvarna Automower 405 because the old blades no longer ran evenly after the long summer in our 300 m² garden. With the new disc with guard and the 6 blades, everything runs more smoothly again and the cutting pattern is noticeably cleaner, especially along the edges. A small catch: when mounting, I had to quickly look at the instructions first, because the position of the grass blocking arms wasn’t immediately self-explanatory.

Frequently asked questions
I drive an Automower 435X – does the 6-blade disc also fit my model?
No. The 6-blade version is intended for Automower 305, 310, 315X, 405, 410 and 415. For the Automower 435X and the 535, please choose the version with 7 or 9 blades—only these two cover the larger models.
Which models does this cutting disc cover overall?
All three versions fit Husqvarna Automower 305, 310, 315X, 405, 410 and 415. The 7- and 9-blade versions are additionally intended for Automower 435X and 535. Before ordering, compare your robot’s model number and the design of the existing cutting disc.
I have two Automower in the garden—does one replacement disc as a spare supply suffice?
If both robots come from the 305 to 415 series, any version fits both. If a 435X or 535 is included, you should go for the 7- or 9-blade version: it then fits all the models mentioned, so a single replacement disc in the shelf is enough for the entire garden.
Does the mowing result change if I switch from 6 to 9 blades?
Yes. With nine instead of six blades, each blade of grass is captured significantly more often per rotation, the clippings are finer, and they practically disappear between the blades during mulching. Nothing changes during installation—the disc mounts on the same bracket.
Is the protection included equally with 6, 7 and 9 blades?
Yes, each of the three versions is supplied with a guard—at 6, at 7, and at 9 blades. The guard design keeps the blades in position, supports controlled blade guidance, and helps reduce grass blockages on the mowing disc.
Do I need to screw the blades on myself before installation?
No. The blades are pre-assembled, so the disc is ready to use straight out of the packaging. For the swap, you don’t need any tools: switch off the robot, carefully tilt it, remove the old disc, fit the new one—done.
My Automower hit a stone. Do I need to replace the mowing disc?
Always check the disc after such impacts. Visible notches, deformation, or blades that no longer swing freely indicate that a replacement is needed. A disc that has been struck runs unevenly, which shows up as unstable operation and unusual noises in the cutting area, unnecessarily stressing the cutting system.
Why a cutting disc from CUT GUARD instead of the original from Husqvarna?
It’s a compatible replacement part from CUT GUARD, not an original Husqvarna part. It is precision-made to fit the mounting of the specified Automower models, is supplied with a guard and pre-assembled replacement blades, and is also available in blade counts that aren’t offered by the factory—such as 7 or 9 blades for a finer cutting pattern.
